There has been much debate about where people like to go on vacation. Many people like to go out and get some sun and enjoy the warm weather of tropical climates. Other people like to travel to places where the weather is moderate and never really changes. These people typically take vacations to experience museums and other attractions that place they’re vising has to offer. The last group of vacationers are those who want to go skiing and experience the beauty of a cold winter’s day. They want to snowboard and sit in a warm cabin, drinking hot chocolate and experiencing the gorgeous scenery all around.

If you are in the last group, consider a vacation in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. There are a lot of different places that can accommodate you and your family. Some of the most luxurious lodgings that can be rented in Boulder are actually log cabins that are surrounding the ski slopes and other winter attractions. If you are not the kind of person who likes the natural beauty of a warn cabin, there are plenty of fine hotels which offer room service and all of the perks that one could expect in an all-inclusive resort.

There are plenty of travelers who refuse to go to Boulder, Colorado because they have this idea that it is a boring city. In addition, they think that they will not have fun while they are in Boulder. However, if you are one of those people who think that way, you are wrong because there are plenty of bars and pubs in that area. There are many other bars in Boulder, but I have listed only the top two.

1. Mountain Sun – If you are looking for a pub where you can find the best beer in all of Boulder, this is the best place where you should head to. In spite of the fact that it is packed almost all of the time, you will not regret that you wait for a few minutes or even a couple of hours hours because they serve inexpensive yet delicious meals and drinks.

2. Centro – This bar was known as Rhumba, and it is one of the best bars that you can go to while you are in Boulder. If you want to experience an open-air bar that serves the best mint mojitos in Boulder, Centro is your best choice. Furthermore, this is where you should go if you want a homey feel.

If you’re considering a move to Boulder you’ve probably done your homework: looked into the school districts, researched wireless internet providers by zip code and even thought about where you might work but the real question is, where are you going to eat? Boulder has a great culinary scene and her are a few of the restaurants we think should be first on your list.

Tangier Moroccan: Who would have thought Boulder would have an exciting ethnic scene? Middle eastern and Asian foods are big here, just as southwestern flavors are and people keep coming back to Tangier for the flavorful meats and award-winning falafels.

Mountain Sub Pub and Brewery: Colorado has one of the most vibrant beer scenes in the country and this micro-brewery right in Boulder is a great example of awesome food paired with craft beer. Eating here gives you a real taste of the area.

Leaf Vegetarian: There are a lot of whole-food nuts here in CO and you’ll find plenty of vegetarian restaurants to service them. This happens to be one of our favorites and you won’t even miss the meat.

Looking for the best splurge restaurants in Boulder, Colorado? From Italian to French-American, Boulder only offers a few lavish dining options for patrons seeking an extravagant tasting experience. Flagstaff House and Frasca Food and Wine consistently receive praise from critics and diners alike, as both offer superior service and delicious cuisine at upscale prices. When contemplating an optimum fine dining restaurant within Boulder, consider the following locales for their impeccably trained employees and reputation of exquisite menu selection.

Frasca Food tributes the cuisine of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy and features a seasonal menu consisting of fresh ingredients from local farmers and purveyors. Priding themselves with dishes according to weather, climate and calendar, Frasca Food’s is inspired by rustic elegance and international influences. Quattropiatti, the most popular dinner tasting option features an antipasti, primi, secondi and a dolci for 75. Considered by many to be the ultimate in flavor within the city, Fresca Food’s lacks the romanticism of regional competitor, Flagstaff House.

Flagstaff House, the family owned and operated mountain top French-American restaurant boasts outdoor terraces, a mahogany bar with a 12,000 bottle wine cellar and a four course tasting menu celebrating a big island of Hawaii with “Monettes” palate in mind. Generally chosen for upscale events and intimate moments, the Flagstaff House regularly accommodates proposals, anniversaries and regarded as the best restaurant within Colorado.

Although Boulder provides only two truly splurge worthy options, Flagstaff House and Frasca Food embody adulation dependability and sophisticated dining experiences.

Boulder, Co has a very diverse restaurant scene. It offers many different tastes to all food lovers and the best thing is that most of the restaurants are very affordable, especially for the supreme quality of food that is offered.

One of the must attend restaurants that will not break the bank is 8 Island Hawaiian BBQ. They offer many traditional Hawaiian dishes as well as a variety of beef, chicken, pork and seafood dishes, and for the diner on a budget, their daily specials make this great food a cheap enjoyable experience.

If you are in the mood for pizza, Abo’s is where you should head. With four locations, there is sure to be one near you. Abo’s rich ingredients and unique breading are sure to fill up the family with one of their specialty pies.

Absinthe House is a great bistro featuring European cuisine. Now, while the traditional menu of Absinthe may be pushing the budget, their food and drink happy hour specials will afford you the luxury of indulging in what I believe to be the best food in Boulder for a reduced price.

While there may be many restaurants in Bolder, these are the most highly recommended for individuals on a budget simply because of the high quality of food that you will receive for a less than expected price.
